Mission
Viejo, CA – August 30, 2011 – AUXILIO, Inc. (AUXO.OB),
the pioneer in Managed Print Services (MPS) for the health care industry, today
announced the expansion of the Company's management team with the appointment
of Barry D. Weeks as Vice President of Solutions for the U.S.
In this new role that is reflective of
the Company’s continued growth and success, Mr. Weeks will be responsible for
the day-to-day management of AUXILIO’s Solutions Group, and will oversee the
execution of its critical MPS Assessment Program. This performance analysis is the
first step towards developing a document management strategy that will
significantly drive savings, and improves workplace satisfaction and
operational efficiency in hospitals and hospital systems across the country. As
the only health care exclusive and vendor neutral MPS company in the U.S.,
AUXILIO’s team of financial, technology and operations experts conduct an
evaluative review during the assessment process, at no cost to the hospital, and
thoroughly examine the entire spend of documents including equipment deployment
and staff use, and the length and terms of vendor contracts and agreements.
Mr. Weeks
will also work closely with and support AUXILIO’s Business Development Group
and regional operations leaders, utilizing his expertise in developing key
business opportunities in order to extend AUXILIO’s position as the premiere
MPS provider for the health care industry. Mr. Weeks will report to Simon
Vermooten, Executive Vice President of AUXILIO.
"Barry
shares our Company's vision and is the right person to help AUXILIO continue
and expand upon our record of success," said Mr. Vermooten. "His
skills and experience complement our existing management team and bring new
expertise to help us deliver value, savings and results that help our customers
meet their goals.”
Prior to this
appointment, Mr. Weeks was a Business Process Consultant in the Financial
Services Industry and Communications, Media, and Entertainment Industries for Hewlett-Packard,
a position he held since 2007. He worked the previous nine years in the MPS
industry as a principal consultant.
AUXILIO’s
transformational print management strategies have gained national attention in
the health care and MPS industries for its continuous process improvement methodology
that has saved millions of dollars for hospitals across the country. The
company’s unique health care exclusive and vendor neutral MPS program responds
precisely to the challenges faced by the modern health care industry to reduce
waste, cut costs and implement electronic records systems. The company has
earned the trust of its customers and in the last several months has renewed,
expanded or signed new MPS agreements in New York, New Jersey, California,
Idaho and Maryland with some of the nation’s most prestigious health care
networks.
