The health care industry’s leader in Managed Print Services (MPS), announced that Johns Hopkins Health System (JHHS) has expanded its MPS contract to include Suburban Hospital Healthcare System (SHHS) in Montgomery County, Maryland.
The 238-bed campus and affiliated care facilities will be integrated into the original JHHS contract, signed in July 2010, which includes The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center, the Johns Hopkins Health Care & Surgery Centers, Johns Hopkins Healthcare and Johns Hopkins Community Physicians. Johns Hopkins Mt. Washington and Johns Hopkins Eastern administrative and support service locations are also included in the contract.
“We are honored that JHHS has chosen to expand our MPS program into another one of their prestigious care organizations,” said Joseph J. Flynn, President and CEO of Auxilio. “Our full-time, on-site team will continue to work hard and in collaboration with JHHS staff to further reduce volume, cut costs and improve efficiencies through continuous process improvement and long-term sustainability initiatives and education.”
Auxilio’s burgeoning foothold in the U.S. health care market has been earned by implementing customized MPS solutions for hospitals across the nation by executing its expert approach for cutting costs by improving operational efficiencies in the process of document production and e- information sharing in modern hospitals. As the only vendor neutral, health care exclusive MPS company in the U.S., it is at the forefront of providing hospitals with specialized knowledge of urgent care print environments that ensures cost reduction, assistance with e-records execution and on-site planning as a strategy partner to reduce volume substantially. It was recently recognized by its peers as a “true pioneer” in the MPS industry for its work in hospitals, and recognized by the Managed Print Services Association (MPSA) with a 2012 Leadership Award for the second year in a row. In March, the company was cited as a best-of-breed independent document management service provider by an unbiased global research company, Quocirca, for its “risk-free model, with no upfront costs and advanced skill and knowledge of EMR readiness strategies for health care” organizations seeking best practices to control costs and manage existing hardware and software investments.
